Luxury flower brooches and pins

These aren’t your grandma’s brooches

We can’t imagine the Queen wearing our wares (although we’d love to see it). Instead, these brooches are born out of an affinity for sculptural shapes, vibrant colours and natural beauty. Lauren Gabriel sources the finest silk faux flowers from around the world and turns them into wearable accessories from our studio in London.

Hi, I’m Lauren

After ten years of working within the fashion and travel worlds, in January 2021 I found myself in lockdown with a newborn baby. It was a blessing but also a struggle to deal with the change of pace and wardrobe.

When baby was napping, I found comfort in watching old episodes of Sex and the City (don’t we all?), which is where the idea for creating luxury fabric flower brooches hit me in the face like when Samantha threw that cocktail at Richard and said ‘dirty martini, dirty bastard.’

With Carrie Bradshaw as my muse, the idea is to bring the Y2K fabric flower pin into the 2020s via statement shapes and curated colours. The result, I hope, is a joyous and personality-filled accessory that can go with you everywhere, from your winter coat to the strap of your summer sandal.

You may have seen us around…
